Chapter 1

Dare to create

Thinking outside of the box

"Thinking outside of the box” is an English metaphor used when someone thinks creatively in a new way. When a person thinks outside of the box, it means that, that person can think from a different perspective, or when a person can think unconventionally or uniquely.

When you think outside of the box, you are not bound by the ways of traditional thinking, ideas, and concepts of the norm, but instead, you are the original version of yourself. You are innovative well enough to use new methods to accomplish old tasks. Your originality is derived from God.

These kinds of people, I mean, the creative-minded people, have reached a level where, they have become a want and must have because of their unique qualities, especially at the cooperate and governmental level. These kinds of people are no longer followers, they take the lead, in service.

Creative-minded people release gain from their pain, they maximize constructive criticism, they use constructive criticism as a new platform to grow and change. They are critical thinkers who dare to be different. Such people are usually humble enough to accommodate change.

When someone walks with God, that person’s mind becomes clear, giving room for more ideas and concepts that will give birth to controversy and change.

When someone walks well enough with God, God will give dreams that are big enough to boggle the mind. Such dreams are capable of turning to failure if the dream carrier does not believe that they can be accomplished.

If you are not careful about how your dreams are handled, the day your dream becomes known to others, is the very day the dreams and you, the carrier, become a target of opposition.

Do you remember Joseph from the scriptures? The day he informed his brothers of his dreams was when the plot to destroy him began so that the dream would be put to termination before execution.

Believe firstly in God who gave you the dream, secondly, trust in God to see you through, accomplishing your dreams regardless of what you think, and what others think, say, or even do. If it is from God, it will surely come to pass.

You will know that your thinking is guarded by God when your ideas boggle your mind, you will also know that it is God when you have not had a well-laid plan or a set of goals to accomplish your ideas and concepts and everything eventually works out fine with ease.

You will come to realize that your ideas are from our creative God when it just happens and even the creative mind cannot explain it. You will come to understand that it is our supernatural God displaying His character and creativity through you.

I don't know about you, the word of God is what brings out the creativity in me, and when I take a look at the life of Jesus Christ, our Messiah, it baffles me. He was creative and broke the rules.

It was the norm not to do anything but rest on Sabbath day but Jesus worked, healed people, and performed miracles on a Sabbath day. Anything that you do differently will be abnormal to the ordinary eye but unique and miraculous in the eyes of God and those who see through the eyes of God.

There should always be a clear difference between religion and liberation. Religion has its many principles which are usually above people, but when someone thinks outside the box (thinking the way God thinks), that person is above the principles and above what people refer to as “we”, “our”, “us”, or "they". A creative-minded person breaks the definition of “stereotype”.

Creative people are wise, not in themselves but in their creative God. They are wise because they embrace and agree with the thoughts of God. Not only that, but they also know that it is so difficult to create in one's strength, so they seek for the wisdom of God to create, after all, God is the creator of the creative-minded person and the creator of what is to be created.

If you must create, you must also be willing to take some steps alone. God likes to work through people individually. Creative people can be accommodating, and at the same time, they don’t mind being alone thinking deeply and positively about the next creative move. If you must build or create anything, it is therefore important that you put God first.

Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the [a]ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;  But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree Planted by the [c]rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper Psalms 1.1-3
