Saul fights against the Ammonites. King Nahash poked the right eye of the Isrealite men to shame them. 7,000 Isrealite men ran for their dear lives from the Jordan area to Jabesh Gilead. King Nahash still went to Jabesh wanting to poke their right eyes and they went to Saul for help. With the power of God, Saul won.
