TALK TO ME NOW: You can see through what God is saying

Occasionally, God speaks more clearly, but in most cases, you can only hear that small, still voice of God. Some of the teachings of Jesus Christ were for us to have eyes that see clearly and ears that listen attentively.

Jesus was referring to spiritual sight and hearing. He wants us to get familiar with how to see and hear God so that we may get to know God’s voice and God’s ways. That way, we will not be deceived by the voice and lies of the enemy.

Whoever has spiritual knowledge and insight will be richly blessed and live life abundantly but whoever is without spiritual insight and knowledge will not have but whatever such people even have will be taken away from them by the deceitful plans of the enemy.

For whoever has, to him more will be given, and he will have abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him. Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand Matthew 13:12-13 NKJV

God indeed speaks to us all the time but we either miss it or hear it but do not understand what God is trying to say. In some cases, some people hear but do not have eyes to see, that is, they do not have any insight. Hearing and not seeing is like having a mission without vision.

This is why we must pray this prayer always: Ephesians 1:17-19, we must ask for God’s wisdom and understanding in everything that we do. We have to understand that there is a difference between just living and living with God's purpose.

But I do more than thank. I ask—ask the God of our Master, Jesus Christ, the God of glory—to make you intelligent and discerning in knowing him personally, your eyes focused and clear so that you can see exactly what it is he is calling you to do, grasp the immensity of this glorious way of life he has for his followers, oh, the utter extravagance of his work in us who trust him—endless energy, boundless strength! Ephesians 1.17-19 The Message.

Some people believe that there is God but do not believe that God actually speaks to us. The closer one gets to God, the clearer God’s voice will be.

Everything you do must have a purpose and you should also be clear about your motives in wanting to hear from God. It should simply be to know God better and to help you live a God-focused life, ensuring that you do not stumble, and you do not cause others to stumble through you.

Remember that God created us for His purpose. We were formed in God’s image and therefore are God’s representatives.

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them Ephesians 2:10 NKJV

Now God has us where he wants us, with all the time in this world and the next to shower grace and kindness upon us in Christ Jesus. Saving is all his idea and all his work. All we do is trust him enough to let him do it. It’s God’s gift from start to finish! We don’t play the major role. If we did, we’d probably go around bragging that we’d done the whole thing! No, we neither make nor save ourselves. God does both the making and saving. He creates each of us by Christ Jesus to join him in the work he does, the good work he has gotten ready for us to do, work we had better be doing Ephesians 2.7-10 The Message.

God has given us the power to subdue the earth and He wants to download how to do that to us through His heavenly waves.

So God created man in His own image, in the image and likeness of God He created him; male and female He created them. And God blessed them and said to them, Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it [using all its vast resources in the service of God and man]; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, and over every living creature that moves upon the earth Genesis 1:27-28 AMPC

These are therefore the reasons why you were created, to be fruitful and to multiply using all God's resources in the service of God and man. Are you bearing fruits in due seasons?

Do you know that besides the physical resources available on earth for man to build and create, there are also Spiritual gifts and resources available for you and me for the purpose of worshiping God and serving others?

To be in the image of God is to have the character of God. God's character is demonstrated also in the fruits of the Holy Spirit. To act like God, you, therefore, have to have the Holy Spirit and bear His fruits.

The Holy Spirit is a special gift from God not readily available for use like the physical resources on earth in which you have to work hard to get before using them.

On the contrary, the Holy Spirit is a Spiritual gift. When you give your life to Jesus Christ, meaning that, you repent from your sins and accept Jesus Christ by simply believing that Jesus Christ did truly die for your sins and rose again on the third day that you may have life, like Jesus said, and as God wishes, you will be gifted with the Holy Spirit, amazingly, you do not have to work at all, to receive it, you only have to believe in Jesus Christ.

What is equally amazing is the free gift of salvation (deliverance from sin and its consequences) and the Holy Spirit.

And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever (Holy Spirit) John 14:16 NKJV

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,  not of works, lest anyone should boast Ephesians 2:8-9 NKJV

Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.” Acts 2:38-39 NKJV

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law Galatians 5.22-23 NKJV

But what happens when we live God’s way? He brings gifts into our lives, much the same way that fruit appears in an orchard—things like affection for others, exuberance about life, serenity. We develop a willingness to stick with things, a sense of compassion in the heart, and a conviction that a basic holiness permeates things and people. We find ourselves involved in loyal commitments, not needing to force our way in life, able to marshal and direct our energies wisely Galatians 5:22-23 The Message.

To be able to fulfill God's purpose which is to worship Him and be of service to mankind, we must apply love, be kind, be gentle, be joyful about it, live in peace and harmony, be patient and self-disciplined.
