How you think is how you are

What you say and how you act as a result of your thoughts have the power to make you, or break you.  You are eventually going to be what you think about often.

Your physique, age, gender, cultural background, or qualifications, as well as your possessions, will not determine who God wants you to be. It is your thinking and actions in alignment with that of God's that will cause you to have good success.

Take a look at an organization like Ford, a motor company, for instance, it is the thoughts and consequent actions of people that drive the business, not the building, how long the building was established, or the motor vehicles which are being produced. It is the combination of the thoughts of so many people that drives a particular course.

An organization can decide to change its location and products as well as its productivity based on all the thoughts and ideas brought in by people. If one person resigns, the company will still function, and if you do not take the effort to build yourself spiritually and maintain the integrity of your heart, you may be easily replaceable.

What I am trying to say here is that you should not be defined by your physique, academic qualifications, and alike, you should be defined by what you have to offer, which are your ideas, convictions, concepts, or thoughts, especially your character but unfortunately, we live in a world that judges by sight. Your character is what should define you. Your characters should be Christlike.

The information that you feed yourself with can shape your thoughts. When your ideas and thoughts stop, your creativity stops, and when your creativity stops, your economy stops too. Is what you are feeding on feeding you the right way?

God will not give you finished products, He will not deliver that book you feel like writing to your doorstep, but He will give you what no man can give you, God will give you peace of mind, self-control, confidence, and a mind that is mentally balanced to think clearly to write that book that you have always wanted to write.

God did not create a plane, neither did God create a mobile phone, what God does for sure through His unlimited resources and Spirit that lives in us, is give people the ability and capacity to build and fulfill dreams. 

It was God who created all the natural resources like wood, air, gold, steel, water, shell, and much more so that we also can build and create. You can never create anything from scratch without using what God first created.

So, do not be afraid to use what God has given to you to be who God wants you to be. It was someone who originally designed that car you drive around, it was someone who also designed that plane that you board around to explore people and places. It was an architect who also designed the house that you are living in.

All these are for temporary enjoyment, let us consider using all the gifts that we have, to also build His kingdom here on earth. For example, building churches, building wells where there is a scarcity of water, feeding the hungry, and especially using His Spiritual gifts for salvation, equipping people spiritually, and baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. 

So, what is that thing that you are thinking of building? Come on now, build it for somebody else too. You can begin to think big. It is also okay to start small.

God is waiting on us, we will be accountable for the life we have been given. Our artistry is most beautiful when it is used to serve humanity.

So you see, you are only one thought away from being that great person you were created to be, so exercise your faith and put your thoughts into action, you might be the one that has that cure for that disease, or be the one to empower women who have been faced with oppression and domestic violence, but if you do not give birth to your thoughts, there may never be a cure for that long-standing disease or there may never be hope for that oppressed and depressed woman living on your street.

You serve God with your heart, and you will also have to serve humanity with your heart. When you want to sow into God’s Kingdom with your creativity, you will not be asking for money, if you are wise, you will be seeking God's wisdom for new ideas, thoughts, creativity, strategies, and plans. 

If you exercise the thoughts and ideas that God places in your heart, you will have the best experiences you never thought you could have, you will also be a motivator and inspirer unto others around you. That is the whole purpose.

Do you have the courage and time to sit down to just think? The fact is that if you can think, you can change or shift things forward for a course. Your thoughts can help you grow spiritually, personally, and professionally, and you can evolve to be the great person that God wants you to be.

You are not going to be better than your thoughts. If you think little, you will be little, if you think weak, you will be weak, if you think strong, you will be strong, if you think great, you will be great. 

So move distractions or feelings or turmoil out of your way so that you can find a peaceful place and time to meditate on the word of God. It will help you to continually renew your thoughts.

You can start now. Think about what you are going to do in the next season of your life, think about what you are going to change in your own present circumstances and in your community, think of what you are going to do with your gifts and talents, think of everything that you can possibly do to improve on yourself daily. Remember that you can never give out what you do not have.

A single thought about the promises of God can change someone's life, also one whisper from God’s still voice can redirect your path in life, so take your time, spend quality time with God and meditate on His words and listen to what He has to say to you. 

Be calm always, be quiet too, if you are too busy, you will miss the thoughts and whispers from God. Don’t live your life being too busy.

It is not what somebody says to you or thinks about you that will drag you down, it is you that may drag you down if you believe everything that people say or think about you. So get familiar with the word of God, it overrides any form of thought contrary to it.
